Olá Anthony. Quem és tu?
Sou fotógrafo há três anos. Comecei quando peguei numa câmara e um amigo me ofereceu um emprego a fazer fotos da vida noturna em bares e clubes.
Como me dediquei sempre às artes a transição para a fotografia foi fácil. Já tinha conhecimentos de luz, de pose, e assim foi fácil trabalhar com modelos e fazer o esquema de luz. Também tenho
uma grande coleção de Transformers.
Desde pequenino que sempre os achei fantásticos na mudança de carro a robot e vice-versa.

Provavelmente na tua vida como fotógrafo tens bons e maus momentos…
Como te sentes no mundo da moda?
Posso dizer-te, em primeira mão, que a vida de fotógrafo não é assim tão glamourosa. Há dias em que me sinto um fracassado. Sou de Michigan e ser deste estado às vezes é complicado.
O estilo que gosto não é o mais popular. Houve alturas em que pensei desistir e vender todo o meu equipamento, devido ao peso de Detroit. De qualquer modo ainda consigo a força interior para prosseguir e perseguir os meus objectivos. Sei que um dia serei grande nesta indústria. Sou persistente quando se trata de conseguir o que quero.

Que conteúdos gostas de fotografar?
Prefiro glamour. O meu objectivo é trabalhar com a Playboy. Acho que a mulher é a definição de beleza e sexo.
Quando trabalho com modelos que se sentem à vontade para posar nuas, faço os meus melhores trabalhos.
Tenho “olho” para as fazer assumir a melhor pose e aparecerem sexy. Nos três anos em que trabalho com fotografia nunca tive tanto prazer como quando trabalho com a minha boa amiga Jessika Alaura. Quando trabalhamos juntos nas fotos aparece toda a química que há entre nós.

Se pudesses escolher uma modelo e um local, quem fotografavas e onde?
Se pudessse escolher uma modelo escolhia Candice Swanepoel. É sem duvida uma das mulheres mais bonitas do mundo. É a minha favorita de todos os anjos da Victoria Secret e espero um dia trabalhar com ela. Gostaria de a fotografar na praia com grandes grutas. Gostaria de a fotografar em bikini.

Para além de fotógrafo quem és tu?
Sou um “gamer”. Estudei para ser um desenhador de jogos video, uma vez que tenho alguma cultura artística.
Sendo um fanático dos Transformers também jogava video games e durante alguns meses estive no primeiro lugar do ranking mundial num jogo para mais que um jogador.

Consegues olhar à volta como qualquer pessoa ou vês o mundo através duma câmara?
Gostava de pensar que , quando fotografo ou tenho uma ideia, podia pegar na câmara e disparar no momento.
Não acontece sempre, mas habitualmente sou rápido.

Acreditamos que seja o teu primeiro contacto com a Amol.
Qual a tua opinião sobre a revista?
Foi a primeira vez que vi a Amol e tenho que dizer que a acho bastante interessante. Acho as revistas europeias mais interessantes que as americanas.
Há uma grande diferença no conceito de “sexy”.

Hi Anthony. Will you let our readers Know who
you are?
Well, I have been a photographer for 3 years now. I started pretty much by picking a camera up one day when a friend offered me a job to shoot
nightlife photography out at bars and clubs. Being an artist all my life, the transition into photographer was rather easy. I already had a foundation for light and shadow and how to pose
my subject, so naturally working with models and setting up lights was a piece of cake. I happen to be a huge nerd.
I have a big Transformers collection.
Since I was little, I always thought they were the coolest thing changing from a car to robot and back.

Probably there are good and not so good moments on your life as a photographer. How do you feel in the fashion world?
I can tell you first hand that being a photographer isn’t all that glamourous.
There are days when I just feel like a failure. I am from Michigan and being from this state is a tough one sometimes. The style I like to shoot isn’t exactly the most popular for my area. There have been times when I have felt like calling it quits and selling all my equipment because of how tough Detroit is. I still manage to find the strength inside to carry on and pursue my goals. I know that someday I will make it big in this industry.
I am persistent when it comes to getting what I want.

What kind of content do you prefer shooting?
The content I prefer to shoot is glamour.
My goal at some point is to work with Playboy. I think women are the definition of beauty and sex.
When I am working with models that are comfortable enough to pose nude, I do my best work. I just have a keen eye for knowing how to pose them and make them look sexy. In the 3 years that I have been doing this, I have never had more fun than working with my close friend Jessika Alaura. Her and I click when it comes to shooting together and the chemistry shows in the pictures.

If you had the chance to choose a model and a place for a shooting, who would you photograph? Where?
If I had the chance to shoot with one model, I’d choose Candice Swanepoel, hands down. She is, without a doubt one of the most beautiful women in the world and rightfully so. She is my all time favorite Victoria’s Secret Angel and I do hope someday to actually work with her. I would shoot with her somewhere on the beach with large caves
and caverns. I’d love to shoot some artistic shots with her and bikini.

Besides being a photographer, who are you?
Besides being a photographer, I’m a gamer. I originally went to school to become a video game designer since I have an art background. Again being a big Transformers nerd, I also played the video games and was ranked 1 in the world for a few months on one of the games for multiplayer.

Can you look around as anyone does or do you tend to see the word through a camera?
I’d like to think that when I shoot something or have an idea, I can just pick up my camera and shoot it right away. It isn’t always the case, but for
the most part, I’m quick to draw my camera and snap away.

We believe this is your first contact with Amol magazine Can we have your opinion about the mag?
This is actually my first time seeing Amol Magazine and I have to say I think it’s pretty cool. I think euro magazines are more interesting than American one’s. There is a large difference when it comes to what is sexy.
